Neal’s Wheals ran Customer Appreciation Day every October; National Car Care Month. Customer Appreciation Day consisted of a FREE safety inspection and a $9.99 oil change. The people lined up down the street to get the inspection in the rear drive-through bays. When that was complete, they drove through the building to line-up for the oil change in the quick-lube bays up front. This event was great for business. Neal believes this event was so successful because each customer who elected to get the inspection received a one-on-one consultation, a report and a business card. The people were told that if they wanted to pursue the work, they could call to make an appointment the following Monday. No pressure.
